Engineer. Educator. Adventurer.
I’m passionate about engineering and driven by a love of exploration and continuous learning. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, surfing, skiing, and kitesurfing—pursuits that reflect my enthusiasm for adventure and challenge.
My name is Ryan Lagoy, and this site serves as a personal and professional showcase—a place to share my engineering projects, creative endeavors, and evolving interests. Over time, I plan to expand it to include photography and other passions.
Professionally, my work bridges both the analog and digital domains, with expertise in radio frequency systems, electromagnetics, software development, and digital signal processing.

Technical Lead and Cost Account Manager for RF/digital techologies in the Research and Development business unit.
Three-year rotational program, with technical challenges spanning antenna design, system prototyping, and environmental testing. The development program also included intensive leadership training.
Improved immunodiagnostics in a more compact, less expensive, and computationally efficient precision optics device than what is currently available in the market. Won Best Senior Project Award in 2013.
Performed design verification testing with National Instruments Test Stand, completed the intern project, and wrote automated MATLAB scripts.
Performed echoic memory research with two choice learning paradigm (design/program/create large scale testing system). Also, performed live brain surgery.
